The sales of 22,147 cars in Uzbekistan in January 2025 reflect the pace of development of the country's automobile market, reported O‘zavtosanoat” JSC. The main participants and brands have formed interesting trends in consumer preferences and have shown varying degrees of success.
Main manufacturers and their market share
- UzAuto Motors provided the largest volume of cars produced, its number was 12,525 units and 56.5% of the total volume. The company continues to maintain its leadership in the market due to affordable Chevrolet models, which remain the most popular among Uzbek car enthusiasts.
- Khorezm Auto is demonstrating steady growth, capturing 21% of the market with 4,643 vehicles.
- The next place is occupied by the ADM Jizzakh plant, which is part of the ADM Global group of companies, with 3,165 vehicles (14.3%). This enterprise produces Kia, Chery, Haval and Hyundai Truck & Buses are assembled.
- BYD Uzbekistan Factory produced 1,663 vehicles, covering 7.5% of the market.
- The remaining manufacturers, including Asaka Motors (105 units), SamAuto (28 units) and Jizzakh Auto (18 units), occupied less than 1% of the market.

Leaders among brands
- The fact that the Chevrolet brand occupies the first place with 17,168 vehicles sold confirms the stable demand for the brand's model.
- In second place Kia took the top spot with 2,007 cars.
- BYD (1,663 cars), which is strengthening its position due to the popularity of hybrid models, completes the top three.
- The remaining brands showed the following results: Chery - 599 cars, Haval - 559 cars, Hyundai - 80 cars, Isuzu D-MAX - 28 cars and Jetta - 18 cars.
